Premiering on May 15th on UPTV is romantic comedy The Game of Love starring renowned actors Heather Locklear and Lochlyn Munro.
Jake and Frankie Cornell are a wealthy yet bitterly divorced couple with shared ownership of a basketball team and very differing opinions over its future.
Frankie along with her two children believe they should sell the team in the name of security. However, Jake steadfastly (and immaturely) refuses. He shreds papers, throws public tantrums, uses legal loopholes, discourages Frankie’s ability to lead, and files lawsuits.
He is willing to do also anything in his blind attempt to keep control over his team. So much so that he cooks up a ridiculous plan to seduce Frankie to regain control.
Jake is blinded by pride and tradition that he is too blind to see the true reason behind their desire to sell.
Are they concerned about their financial future?
Are they determined to provide free time for Jake?
Or is it some more sinister?
I think it’s safe to say Jake’s attempt to seduce his ex-wife fails miserably. However, there is a huge difference between seduction and love.
Love drives his family to tell him the truth. Love drives Jake to open up to the feelings and desires of his family. Love has the potential to bring their whole family back together.
Catch the premiere of The Game of Love on May 15 on Uplifting TV at 7p.m. ET.
