For 43 years, the Skywalker family drama has ruled the silver screen. Now that the saga is concluded, what are the plans for a galaxy far, far away? LucasFilm has an entire galaxy as its creative playground. The options are limitless, and its high time someone uses it. They have only begun to scratch the surface.

As much as I respect George Lucas for the start of this incredible world, I never did appreciate how easily he threw in the towel after the falter of his Prequel Trilogy. Meanwhile, Disney was intuitive enough to recognize the potential and took it off his hands to give this fictional galaxy the attention it deserves. So much so, that it has been difficult to keep up.

Writers work tirelessly at Skywalker Ranch to create an incredible new book and comic series call The High Republic. We return the prequel era where the Galactic Senate and the Jedi Order rule. What immersive new adventures will this franchise bring?
