J.K. Rowling's incredible Wizarding World continues to amaze in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald , the second installment in the new "Fantastic Beasts" series.
The unusual adventures of magizoologist Newt Scamander continue to intertwine with baker Jacob Kowalski and infamous criminal Grindelwald in a very unexpected way. What begins as a simple, independent mission to reunite with old friends and the woman he loves, he instead discovers the whereabouts of the miraculous Credence Barebone and inadvertently infiltrates an evil, underground campaign to conquer the world. He faces a difficult choice to join a cause in which he does not believe.
As a peaceful man, he feels no necessity to join the fight against Grindelwald. He seeks to remain a peaceful man with a passion for unique creatures. Grindelwald's bloodlust serves as a clear contrast to Scamander’s peaceful nature. However, Scamander must learn that his inactivity will do the world no favor against Grindelwald.
Scamander must choose a side, as must all of his family and friends. Will he chose the side of good where he fights alongside the ministry of magic to save the world? Or will he align himself with Grindelwald and his elitist ideas?
Love for his brother. Love for Tina Goldstein. Love for friends. Love for the world.
There come times in life when we face difficult or uncomfortable decisions. The world is a frightening place, and we need to stay strong. We need to understand our convictions. We must fight the destructive, toxic presence in the world and defend the people we love. Our choices define us. Samander makes his choice. He chooses a side for the people he loves and for an important cause.
The final battle in the final chapter of this incredible franchise promises to be incredible. Grindelwald doesn’t stand a chance against the Scamander brothers united and Newt’s collection of unique alleys. It serves to make friends. It serves to preserve humanity.
